Wylam Brewery and 44 Events are back with their 2025 Food Battles—a series of exciting events celebrating everything from plant-based perfection to spice-filled street food.

24th & 25th January
Celebrate plant-based perfection at the Flower Power Vegan Fest. With over 10 vegan food vendors and craft beers, this two-day event isn’t just for vegans—everyone is invited to indulge in some seriously good food. Find out more.

🍔 Battle of the Burger

18th & 19th April
Who makes the best burger? Local vendors bring their A-game in this juicy competition. From classic patties to creative twists, Battle of the Burger is a must for burger lovers.

🍕 Slice Wars

2nd & 3rd May
Pizza lovers, prepare for a cheesy showdown! Slice Wars brings the best pies to the table, with vendors crafting everything from classic Margheritas to unique, gourmet pizzas.

🌮 Mexican Standoff

23rd & 24th May
Get your taste buds ready for a fiesta! The Mexican Standoff will feature the best tacos, fajitas, and nachos, bringing vibrant Mexican flavours to Wylam Brewery.

👑 Battle Royale

22nd & 23rd August
A true culinary competition, Battle Royale will showcase a mix of innovative food vendors competing to be crowned champion. Expect surprises, bold flavours, and unforgettable dishes.

🐔 Lord of the Wings

19th & 20th September
Wings, wings, and more wings! Lord of the Wings will feature vendors battling for the title of wing champion, with all your favourite flavours and some fiery surprises.

🌶️ Argie Bhaji

7th & 8th November
Spice lovers, rejoice! Argie Bhaji will feature bold, flavour-packed Indian street food—think crispy bhajis, tangy curries, and more.
