Vince Cayo Lewis Pugh - Live The White Room Music Cafe
Delighted to welcome to The White Room, a couple of brilliant singer songwriters from Yorkshire performing a fab double header of their folk punk inspired original & carefully selected covers..

First up is Vince Cayo

Vince Cayo is a touring multi-instrumentalist and folk singer out of Bradford.
Fresh out of school he hit the road and honed his trade on the roads ofEurope and America, drawing inspiration from the likes of Flogging Molly, BillyBragg and Bob Dylan. Eventually settling in West Yorkshire, gigs started lining up across The Uk &Europe, and connections were being made, which eventually led to an introduction to top West Yorkshire producer Grant Henderson with whomVince would make two albums, Bound For Glory (2017) and Lucky Red Hat(2018).
This (Lucky Red Hat) channels some big themes into real gone songs! Jumbo Records

Vince Cayo is one of the most promising young folk singers in Yorkshire, having shared stages with heavyweights of the punk and folk genres in thelikes of Jesse Ahern, Days N Daze, Street Dogs and the Rumjacks

His sound and performance has been described by London Celtic Punks as
A strong voice that growls out at you like Tom Waits lashing it up with Shane McGowan

And also Lewis Pugh

Lewis Pugh is a prolific songwriter with influences ranging from bluegrass, country, folk through to skiffle and punk. Brought up going to bluegrass and folk festivals with his family who were often performing, such as Cambridge Folk Festival and Edale Bluegrass Festival, Lewis' appreciation of roots music came at a young age. After playing in countless punk and metal bands from age of 12 until 26, Lewis gradually shifted back to the music of his upbringing.

Self-releasing his first solo album in 2017, he has since released 'Dark Wheels turn Above Our Heads' in 2020 and 'Bullets for Bread' in 2024, finding a sound between country, folk and bluegrass with a distinct political slant. In between albums there have been countless singles & EP's, often raising money for homeless outreaches or food banks

Really loving the sound of these 2 & we look forward to welcoming them to our lovely little venue in November

\*\*\* The lads have asked if the gig can be a pay as you feel as they appreciate times are hard & want to encourage more people to attend gigs.

I think this is a superb gesture & hopefully will make people want to come & support new, awesome original music.

Tickets are FREE but Ive put a suggested amount on the poster as feel they are worth this.
