Step into the world of puppetry and creativity at the Toon Underground Parade Exhibition!

Following the Toon Underground community parade on Saturday 19 April, a stunning selection of giant puppets, costumes, and masks will be on display at Great North Museum: Hancock for one week only. Created by over 100 local residents and artists, these incredible pieces explore Newcastle’s hidden nature, underground ecosystems, and the ways we connect with our city.

This exhibition is the result of two weeks of free community workshops, bringing together creativity and community spirit in a celebration of Newcastle’s unseen wonders.

This event is made possible by support from the National Lottery Community Fund Awards For All and Nexus (Metro).
