Show Slice Spritz - Laurie Brewster Kerris Gibson Nicola Mantalios with host Lauren Pattison
The best meal deal in the toon! A show with some of the finest comedians, poets and theatre makers the north east has to offer - a slice of pizza and a Aperol or wine spritz. All hosted by Lauren Pattison As seen on Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC One), Comedy Up Late (ABC) and as heard on the smash-hit Have A Word podcast.

Laurie Brewsters dry brand of humour took him all the way to the final of So You Think You're Funny? 2024.

Nicola Mantalios & Kerris Gibson are a comedy duo with chaotic charm and offbeat brilliance. Together, they bring a riot of dry wit, queer joy, and unpredictable storytelling to the stage.

Nicola is a Greek-Geordie bisexual comedian and beloved regular on the North East comedy circuit. Shes the founder and host of Queers and Beers, Newcastles main queer comedy night, and a frequent MC at The Stand Newcastle. Whether as herself or her character Zoe a socially obtuse, fleece-wearing dog enthusiast Nicola keeps audiences delightfully off-balance.

Kerris, twice a Felt Nowt New Act of the Year finalist, is like a cinnamon bun thats been dropped a few times (and that one weirdo would still eat). She mixes deadpan delivery with surreal life stories and has a flair for turning therapy notes into punchlines. Her work has been showcased on BBC Radio Newcastle and at the Sunderland Film Festival. Shes also a core member of improv troupe Spontaneous Wrecks.
