Next year will see her biggest gig to date: as the first ever female host of Sunday for Sammy at Newcastle Utilita Arena.

Chris Cantrill - Comedy
Chris Cantrill is a 3-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated comedian, writer and actor from West Yorkshire.
Known for mixing quick fire gags with uniquely offbeat observations about modern life, hes developed a reputation as one of the most charmingly, daftly funny comics on the scene right now (The Times).
Since making his television debut on Harry Hills Clubnite (Channel 4), Chris has become a regular on television and radio. Hes appeared in shows such as the BAFTA-winning Almas Not Normal (BBC 2), Dont Hug Me Im Scared (Channel 4) and Avoidance (BBC One). Hes also written for the likes of Dave, Channel 4, BBC Radio 2, Cbeebies and CBBC.

As half of the acclaimed double act The Delightful Sausage, Chris has been twice nominated for the Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (2019 and 2022).

Steve Byron is an award winning playwright based in Newcastle, hes published with Bloomsbury Methuen Drama and likes to describe his writing as tales from toilet doors. His credits include: Reiver: Tales from the Borders, Mr Punch Bacon Knees and Sausage Fingers, Floorboards, Rocket Girl, Walter, Sucking Eggs and Tree.
