Pama International return with their first reggae album and live shows in six years!

Since their formation in 2001 Pama Intl have released 18 albums, recorded 5 BBC sessions (3 at Radio One's Maida Vale, 1 for Radio 2 for Janice Long, and 1 for BBC 6 music's Craig Charles), and in 2006 they became the first new band to sign to Trojan Records in 30 years. Theyve also been championed by BBC 1xtra's David Rodigan (who first played them back in 2001 on in Kiss fm show), xfm's Jon Kennedy, and BBC6's Steve Lamacq, Gideon Coe, Don Letts, Huey Morgan, and Chris Hawkins.

The collective nature of the band has seen them work with reggae royalty; Ken Boothe, Derrick Morgan, Dawn Penn, Dave & Ansel Collins, Dennis Alcapone, AJ Franklin (Chosen Few), Rico Rodriguez, Michie One and Mad Professor, plus Wrongtom and Billy Bragg, whilst their line up has included members from; The Specials, Madness, Galliano, Steel Pulse, Lee Perry's Upsetters, The Style Council, Kasabian, Pop Will Eat Itself and Bentley Rhythm Ace!

Live, the band built a huge following with performances at; Glastonbury, Womad, Boomtown, Beautiful Days, Big Chill, Wickerman, Kendal Calling, Boss Sounds, Larmer Tree, and Nowa Reggae festivals, sell-out shows at London's iconic 100 Club, Jazz Cafe, O2 Academy Islington, The Garage and, in 2018, they launched their soul revue to 9000 people at Alexandra Palace.

Tours and shows with; The Specials, Madness, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & The Maytals, Prince Buster, Lee Perry, Max Romeo, Georgie Fame, Bob Andy, Misty In Roots, Ken Boothe, Mick Jones (The Clash), Third World, Janet Kay, and Channel One sound system further cemented their reputation.

Not content to keep his music to record alone, band founder/songwriter Sean Flowerdew, has had his music included in over 20 film and television shows, the most successful being Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Hollywood blockbuster Fools Gold, with another two currently in production.

Now Pama international return with a brand new show and their first reggae album in six years Return of the Unity Rockers. Inspired by late 70s/early 80s roots, dub, lovers rock and soul sounds and featuring an all-star cast the album once again delivers an incredibly original and forward thinking mix of style and substance! Studio 54 meets Rockers Uptown!
