What to expect
Northern Lights Newcastle is a spectacular kilometer-long Christmas light trail at Leazes Park, transforming the city park into a glowing winter wonderland. Wander through the immersive light installations, uncover hidden moments of magic and explore our vibrant Christmas Village offering festive food, drinks and fairground fun.
Exciting new immersive trail for 2026
For 2026 you can expect the brand-new theme which will rewind the wonder and let you relive the magic. Journey through the decades and relive the nostalgia of Christmas magic in an unforgettable immersive experience.
At the end of the trail, visitors will also be entertained with a variety of festive treats within the Christmas Village, including the warmth of mulled wine, hot chocolate, and toasted marshmallows, as well as vintage fairground rides.
