Get ready for an unforgettable adrenaline rush as the Tyne Zipwire returns this August with even more thrills! Local adventure company Jelly Legs is back with the Summer Sky Zip, offering a heart-pounding zipwire experience that promises to take you to new heights - literally!

This year, you'll start your adventure with a breathtaking crane lift above the Newcastle quayside, before zooming down the zipwire at speeds of up to 30mph. As you soar across the River Tyne, take in the stunning views of the riverscape and the iconic Millennium Bridge. Your thrilling ride concludes with a safe landing at Gateshead's Baltic Square.

Key Event Details

• Dates: 16-18 August, 23-25 August, 30 August - 1 September, and an extra session on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August.
• Times: 9am to 7pm, Fridays to Sundays.
• Location: Starting from a crane lift above Newcastle quayside, landing in Gateshead's Baltic Square.
• Cost: £40 - £45 per person.

Please note the following for a safe ziplining experience:

• Filming and photography may take place at this event for promotional purposes.
• There is no age restriction on this activity, however the size and weight of participants are relevant. Participants must weigh between 6 & 15 stone in order to zip. All participants will be weighed on arrival to ensure that the minimum or maximum weight restrictions are met. Participants will be fitted with a chest harness and waist harness. Participants will need to climb over a barrier to start the zip; therefore, they must have ease of movement in order to take part.
