Where Mother's Ruin explored the early dark days of sleepless nights, lonely days and out of tune nursery rhymes in cold church halls; Mother's Ruin: The Teenage Years longs for those seemingly blissful times, in comparison to what comes next. With her joyful blend of original music, improv and audience participation, Jenni Winter presents a raw, funny and heartbreaking tale of moving from toddlers to tiktok, nappies to nobody understands me, and "I love You" to "I Didn't Ask To Be Born"!
A cabaret/ theatre performance telling stories of raising teenagers, punctuated with live, original songs (performed by JW at the keyboard) and audience participation (in the safest, gentlest form). A tribute to all our beautiful, inspiring, infuriating, hair-raising teenagers out there, and to everyone who is, was or has a teenager.
