Following our inclusive cycling taster days last year, were excited to invite you to a drop-in consultation event to help shape the future of inclusive cycling in Gateshead.
Were shaping the future of inclusive cycling in Gateshead, and we want to hear from you. Thanks to funding from Active Travel England, through the Active Travel Social Prescribing project, were exploring how cycling can be more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Come along and try out a range of adapted bikes provided by Everybodys Cycling designed to suit a variety of needs and abilities.
What to expect:
* A chance to test out specially adapted bikes with friendly staff who will explain how the bikes work and understand some of the challenges people with additional needs may face
* Free refreshments
* Friendly staff ready to hear your ideas
* An opportunity to help us shape future inclusive cycling initiatives in Gateshead
Who can attend? Everyone is welcome whether you just want to try a different bike, are a carer, or work with people with additional needs. While we wont have childrens bikes, there will be some smaller bikes available. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cant make it? No problem! Wed still love to hear your thoughts. Get in touch and well send you a short questionnaire or arrange a chat.
