Newcastle’s Vertu Motors Arena will once again host international basketball as Great Britain takes on Czechia in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers on Monday 24th February 2025.
This final qualifier could be a make-or-break moment, with GB aiming to secure their place in this summer’s European championships. The city has become a home for the national team in recent years, not least because the Eagles and GB share a head coach in Marc Steutel.
