When the sun goes down, the spirits rise...
Step into the shadows ofRising Sun Country Parkfor a night of ghostly encounters and eerie exploration. With its rich history and whispering woodlands, this seemingly peaceful park hides secrets from the pastare you brave enough to uncover them?
The night will start with a health and safety briefing followed by a brief history of the location. After doing a prayer of protection, we will embark on our investigation using an advanced range of top of the range devices and traditional techniques with the aim to encourage spirit contact.
During the night we will stop for some light refreshments, tea, coffee, crisps and chocolate bars will be supplied but feel free to bring your own drinks and food providing that they are only consumed at break times. Strictly NO alcohol or drugs.
Based over three buildings, one of which was a hospital for children with small pox this venue has LOTS of history to explore...monks, coal mining and witches!Maybe the witches stone circle that sits at the back of this venue can explain some of the weird experiences people have here. Unexplained voices and haunting have been heard and footsteps behind you are heard in the woods.
The most common occurrence is the reports of an apparition that is seen wandering the grounds of the park. One of the buildings has a very sinister atmosphere, with the feeling of something watching, making visitors feel welcome and fearful.

This location is NOT accessible for wheelchair users or mobility issues. There are many buildings that are accessed with steps and we also visit the witches circle which is based in the woodland so would be difficult for those with reduced mobility.
