Four non-residentiary canons will be installed at Newcastle Cathedral upon the invitation of the Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley, Bishop of Newcastle.
Taking their newly designated places in the Cathedral Quire will be:
* The Revd Alison Hardy
* The Revd Louise Taylor-Kenyon
* The Revd Canon Dr Sarah Hills
* The Revd Sue McCormack.
This service will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ordination of Women to the Priesthood in the Church of England.
