Make your mark on a practical yet beautiful bamboo chopping board with this acrylic pouring and resin workshop. Led by Redeemed Arts, you'll learn how to create a functional work of art using the fascinating technique of acrylic pouring and resin.
Part One: Choose between a lava or seascape design and use the flip cup method to let the paints flow across the 29.5 x 20 x 1.5cm food-safe chopping board. The option to add embellishments using locally sourced sea glass and your own hand drawn creatures is available.
Part Two: Learn the art of resin and cover your chopping board with heat proof resin and allow to cure. The final product is heat resistant to 90°c, suitable and functional for everyday use. After the session your items will be available for collection after 2 weeks.
Our acrylic pouring and resin technique lets you restore, upcycle, and create unique chopping boards that are perfect for ages, 9 to 99! All instruction and equipment needed for this fun and engaging workshop are provided. Carers and personal assistants are welcome to attend for free.
Ideal for those in search of a creative outlet or for taking up a new hobby, this workshop is a must-try for anyone looking to make art while also promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
