True Crime Forum Newcastle 2026 - Maldron Hotel Newcastle

True Crime Forum Newcastle is a full-day event for people interested in crime, justice, psychology, investigation and the stories behind the headlines.

The programme brings together expert-led workshops exploring crime scene investigation, media narratives, violence against women and girls, the manosphere, serial crime and wildlife crime. Attendees choose two workshops based on their own interests, with opportunities to listen, ask questions and engage with specialists throughout the day.

The event concludes with a 90-minute interactive investigation led by The Detective Rooms. Participants work through evidence, make decisions and collaborate to solve a fictional case.

Created by True Crime Collab, the Forum offers a thoughtful and community-focused alternative to passive true crime consumption. It is designed for curious people who want to explore complex subjects in greater depth, meet others with similar interests and take part in an engaging day of discussion and investigation.

No specialist knowledge is required, and attendees are welcome to participate at their own level, whether that means joining discussions or simply listening and reflecting.
