Sandwich Jam - Summerhill Bowling Club

Belly Of The Beast are hosting the NE's very first sandwich festival at the end of Summer.

It is a daylong celebration of the sandwich and the local, independent food scene and community. There will be seven of the region's best sandwich vendors selling their signature creations side-by-side alongside a sandwich-themed, pop up cocktail bar by Newcastle Cocktail Kitchen, artisan gelato cart by PANNA and a huge charity bake sale, the "Bake Sale Of Dreams!" All proceeds will go towards WERS and FoodCycle and it will feature contributions from the local community and many of our local artisan bakeries, patisseries and donut vendors!

Newcastle's independent radio station "Slack's Radio" will be soundtracking the day with members of their eclectic roster playing live throughout the event. Suzie Winsor Studio will be running workshops for kids and the event is family and dog-friendly.

Bring your friends, bring your family, bring a picnic blanket and hang out for the day on the lawn. Oh, and come hungry!
