Join us for the opening of From Bosnia to Tyneside, a powerful and moving new exhibition in the Destination Tyneside gallery at Discovery Museum.
It shares the story of Smajo Beso and his familys journey escaping the Bosnian War and rebuilding their lives on Tyneside.
Through film, personal objects and family photographs, the exhibition explores themes of displacement, resilience and belonging.
The launch event will include introductory speeches from invited guests and contributors (TBC), with tea, coffee and refreshments served.
This is a free event, but booking is required.
