A fun crafting session for all. Our friendly staff will be on hand to support, and a variety of materials will be available.
This February half term, everyone's invited to join in with doodling a BIG pattern.
You'll find long rolls of paper spread over tables, ready for BIG drawing! Some wiggly overlapping lines have been prepared, creating segments on the paper. You're invited to doodle inside the segments and add more details, creating a big communal artwork. A range of drawing materials will be available to try.
Your group / family will have their own section of the paper to work on. At the end of the session we'll have a long artwork created by people of all ages. After viewing the artwork together, the rolls of paper will be divided up, so you can take your doodles home. Display your long artwork at home or repurpose it as gift wrap.
* For the first hour you'll be drawing, and exploring the gallery to find patterns as inspiration.
* For the final 15 minutes, we'll have a group walkabout to view the artwork together. You'll then cut your section out of the paper, and roll it up to take it home.
Suitable for all ages, recommended 3+.
