Silhouette of a crowd with raised hands at a concert
Coming from a Macedonian working-class family whose parents emigrated to Australia in the 1970's and raised in the shadow of the Port Kembla Steelworks, South of Sydney, Australian storyteller and folk singer, Snez, subtly weaves these stories into her own songs. Stories about hardship, romance, work ethic, poverty of Macedonia and the aching transition into Aussie working-class life which have been passed down through generations.

In 2009, Snez released her debut album 'Gypsy Soul", and there began her journey as a travelling storyteller, with guitar in hand, Snez has spent the last 15 years roaming remote and regional Australia, playing country halls, house concerts, indigenous schools and even refugee camps and camp fires along the way; squeezing her world into a camper-van for months at a time. Some festival highlights include playing the Blue Mountains Music Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival - TAS, National Folk Festival - ACT, illawarra Folk Festival - NSW, Fleurieu Folk Festival - SA. Off the back of the success of her critically acclaimed album 'Fisher on the Sea', released during the pandemic, with wide rotation on the ABC Radio and airtime on MTV, CMT and Rage, 2026 sees the new release of her 6th studio album with an Australian and NZ tour, followed by her debut tour of the UK, Ireland and Scotland, with fellow musician and producer Stewart Peters.
