Phantom Bagman are a North East based Indie Jazz Group which started as a group of friends from university and has spread into an ensemble of like-minded music lovers. Fusing elements of Indie Rock, Funk, and Soul with Modern Jazz aesthetics, Phantom Bagman create a sound unique to the roster of people involved, and the city that has brought them together. Having released their first three singles “Light Off”, “You Want It (You Wish For It)”, and “Stop Being So Introspective and Go Outside”; they are working towards the release of their debut EP in 2026: a fresh blend of jazz, latin and funk that will make you dance, swoon and fall in love with the sound of Tyneside, whether it finds you in the club or the daily commute. The last twelve months has seen Phantom Bagman go from strength to strength culminating with a performance at with BBC Introducing North East. More exciting events on the way in 2026!
