Join Workie Ticket Theatre at Springfield Park Community Centre for a FREE reading of The C Card, written by JoJo Kirtley, performed by Ashlea Sanderson and directed by Viv Wiggins, followed by a conversation to inform a social media campaign amplifying real voices and sharing vital messages around cancer awareness for women.

With cake, conversation, and creativity at its heart, this workshop invites you to be part of something bigger - shaping bold, real messages that could help more women access life-saving healthcare. (Cake included.)

Workie Ticket invites you to a relaxed and welcoming session where we will create a space for women to share experiences, ask questions, and explore barriers to screening and care - without being overwhelmed by statistics and medical jargon. You dont need to have had cancer to attend, you might want to learn more, share your perspective, or simply be curious. Or you might just want to come for the cake! All are welcome but booking is essential.

Content note: This event includes open and honest conversations about cervical and other gynaecological cancers, screening, and end-of-life experiences.

Proudly supported by Healthwatch North Tyneside, as part of a programme to improve access to cancer prevention and support.

About the play: The C Card: Christy loves champers, designer shoes and after her cervical cancer diagnosis, her C Cardsomething money cant buy. And shes not afraid to use it.
