Coming from a Macedonian working-class family whose parents emigrated to Australia in the 1970's and raised in the shadow of the Port Kembla Steelworks, South of Sydney, Australian storyteller and folk singer, Snez subtly weaves these stories into her own songs. Stories about hardship, romance, work ethic, poverty of Macedonia and the aching transition into Aussie working-class life which have been passed down through generations.
