The Star & Shadow Cinema is 20 years old!!!
Starting life in the former Tyne Tees TV warehouse opposite The Tanners Arms on Stepney Bank, the 2015 move to the Warwick Street site saw the cooperative take full ownership and rebuild the former furniture shop.
To mark the start of 20th anniversary celebrations were laying an a very special late night birthday throwdown.
2 rooms! Beefed up sound & Mental Arena decor in the main room and slo-mo backroom action with added visuals.
As a club space over these last 2 decades the venue(s) has hosted some amazing nights and well be tapping into that legacy with a superlative Disk Jock line up.
Expect heavy rotations of Italo Disco, Acid House bangers, Low Frequency Oscillations, synth pop screamers and Cold War tear jerkers, hitting all points between and beyond!
