International Streetband Exchange Festival with:
Fanfare of the First Night of Love, Amsterdam
The Fanfare is a colourful and socially engaged Amsterdam street orchestra with around twenty five members playing a wide range of wind and percussion instruments. For almost 40 years the Fanfare has been a creating a musical party wherever they go, both in the Netherlands and abroad. A welcome guest at festivals, concerts and celebrations, they have made subtle yet intense presence felt around the world - from Brittany to Slovenia, from Cuba to Turkey, from climate actions at Schiphol Airport to protests in the occupied Palestinian West Bank.
Storytellers Streetband
Storytellers 8 piece streetband. New Orleans, Jazz, Funk, Pop, and Latin grooves. On the move or stationary. A crowd pleaser! Visual, powerful sound. They played twice before in the S & S with a contemporary Mummers within a ceilidh. They can call a ceilidh with a difference. Self written jigs and reels with a brass / wind line up.
