    I Scream For Pizza

    Sister venue to Sanyford stars Scream For Pizza, I Scream For Pizza is based on the Quayside and serves up monster pizza slices, soft serve ice cream and divine shakes. The ice cream is made in house with a range of unique flavours. All can be enjoyed with the perfect backdrop of the Quayside, what more could you want!? 

    Caffè Ginevra

    Based in Prudhoe, Caffè Ginevra has opened up a new city centre location, serving up heavenly ices and artisan coffee on Pilgrim Street. With flavours ranging from scrumptious Reese's to crowd favourite mint choc chip, the quaint spot is bound to be a popular haunt for those wanting to cool down in the summer months.  

    Mark Toney

    A staple in NewcastleGateshead, Mark Toney have cafes throughout the city serving award winning dairy ice creams combining locally sourced dairy products. Locals will be familiar with the parlous as it has been serving the people of Newcastle since 1962, making it the oldest surviving coffee shop in the toon. The characterful café offers Italian sorbet, gelato or frozen yoghurt, you will be spoilt for choice! 

    Minchella & Co

    When Giuseppe Minchella moved from Italy to England, his first individual pitch was in Boldon Colliery selling refreshing ice cream to miners after a hard days graft. After working in many of towns across the North East, Minchella & Co found a home in South Shields. Their flavoursome iced delights have scooped up many awards, including the best ice cream in the UK for their mouth watering Pistachio flavour. If you fancy a caffeine kick, they even have their very own blend of specially selected coffee. 

    Di Meo’s Riverside Ouseburn

    Based in a quiet corner of Ouseburn, Di Meo's transports visitors to Italy with one taste of the delicious hand-made gelato. After winning several national awards, including TripAdvisor's Traveller's Choice award in 2021, Di Meo's has expanded their business and have three shops in the city, from Whitley Bay to Ouseburn visitors and locals have the chance to sample authentic Italian gelato.
