All of their pies are handmade especially by the award-winning Amble Butchers, who source prime meats from the Northumbrian area. The Bridge Tavern

Nestled under our beloved Tyne Bridge, the Bridge Tavern is a Brewpub and Eatery offering delicious traditional pub food alongside locally produced ales. The Broad Chare

For those pie lovers who enjoy the finer things in life, The Broad Chare’s hand raised pork pie is a must try. They can be found on the snacks menu for £3.85 each and are set to get your taste buds tingling. On Saturdays, treat yourself to their Dish of the Day - a Chicken, Mushroom and Bacon Pie or get your gnashers round a tasty vegetarian pie option and try Broad Chare's Lancashire Cheese, Onion and Thyme Pie.

The Central

The Central promise you hearty "pies and not stews with hats on!" Tuck into a steaming pie packed with tasty fillings including mince and onion, corned beef and steak, kidney and Motorhead Road Crew ale. The Central is a friendly and relaxed pub with great live music and unique surroundings.
