Located in the Gate, the venue is a stone's throw away from Mayfair Ballroom, a stage that has been graced by the likes of AC/DC, Queen, The Police, Kylie Minogue and U2. The scene's newest grassroots venue is dedicated to spotlighting the best underground, breaking and local talent.

    NX

    NX, formerly known as Newcastle O2 Academy, is a large, popular music venue in Newcastle city centre.     The Grove

    Nestled in the heart of Newcastle's east end, where Byker meets Ouseburn Valley you will find The Grove. New on the music scene, the venue boasts a 350 capacity music hall where you can catch up-and-coming artists of all genres. The venue has two bars including one cocktail bar with a roof terrace for you to make the post of for pre and post gig refreshments. 

    Riverside

    Riverside is located along the banks of the River Tyne and is a historical music venue known for its intimate atmosphere. It has hosted a wide range of acts and offers a gritty, authentic vibe making it favourite spot for fans of indie, rock, and alternative music.     The Boilershop

    The Boilershop is a venue with a backstory, blending heritage with music. Originally part of Robert Stephenson’s locomotive works, the space now hosts an eclectic range of music events.     Hoochie Coochie

    Established in 2011, Hoochie Coochie is an award-winning venue created for those who have a passion for funk, soul and jazz. The venue offers a space where people can experience incredible live performances up close in an intimate and stylish setting. Artists that have graced the stage include Chaka Khan, Gregory Porter, Candi Staton and many more. 

    The Lubber Fiend

    The Lubber Fiend is a non-profit venue that is pretty new on the music scene in Newcastle. It has an intimate capacity of 140 and can be found on Blanford Street hosting up-and-coming artists.

    World Headquarters

    World Headquarters is a legendary nightclub in Newcastle, known for its inclusive atmosphere and commitment to diversity. Founded in 1993, it has become a cultural hub for music lovers, offering a safe space where people of all backgrounds can come together to enjoy a variety of genres, from house and techno to funk, soul, and reggae.
