Head down to Ouseburn Farm to meet some of their spring-time residents. In previous years, visitors have even been able to pet lambs and meet piglets.
Easter heralds the first bank holiday weekend of the year with four-days to yourself. Set your out of office and choose from events like Wylam Brewery's epic Battle of the Burger which takes place over Easter bank holiday weekend.
Venture further afield with a day trip to Alnwick Garden to wander through their ethereal Cherry Blossom trees which bloom towards the end of April each year and are a spectacular sight.
