You will learn about Admiral Lord Collingwood, born near St Nicholas Church (now Newcastle Cathedral), who took command after Nelson fell at Trafalgar in 1805, pioneering feminist Mary Astell, and the Danish sailors who found a safe haven in Newcastle during the Second World War.
These tours are FREE to attend, with a suggested donation of 7. Your support helps us maintain the Cathedral, continue our charitable work, and keep the doors open for all.
