Chris Cleverley
FATEA Artist Of The Year 2002 Chris Cleverley's music is infused with the hazy, dreamlike essence of the 60s Folk Revival. Rich with lightning-fast melody and beautiful vocals, every song pulls you in to reveal lucid storytelling - confirming his compelling place within the world of alternative and indie-folk. His appearance last year in Alstonefield received such positive reviews a return visit was a must!

Described as impressive (Daily Telegraph), haunting (The Sunday Times) and as one of the most vital voices of today's folk generation (Folk Radio UK), Chris has gigged and recorded extensively across the UK, working with artists such Dan Whitehouse (Reveal Records), Eliza Marshall (Peter Gabriel), John Elliot (The Little Unsaid).

Kirsty McGee's songs are the soundtrack to a colourful patchwork of experience, and attest to a unique life full of paradoxical quirks and actions from the heart, sung by a voice just that little bit too pure to have seen what she has seen. It is just one of the many ironies that surround her eccentric past and qualify her to write and perform music of such rich integrity and sincerity. Her emergence as a unique and strong voice in acoustic music coincided with her now-famous early appearance alongside Suzanne Vega at Brampton Live festival in 2001. This has been followed with four studio albums, two BBC award nominations (best newcomer, best original song) and busy international touring schedule.
