Charlotte Butler is a pianist, composer and teacher from the North East of England. She studied at Sage Gateshead before graduating from Newcastle University with a First-Class Honours degree in music. Charlotte also holds an ARSM diploma in piano and an AMusLCM diploma in music theory.
Charlotte specialises in composing compelling, atmospheric solo piano music that has both an immediate and lasting effect on the listener. In 2020, she released her debut album, Illuminated Keys. This was followed by her popular ‘A Piece a Day’ series, where she composed and uploaded a new piece daily during the UK lockdown. In 2023 she released a beautiful EP collection of five piano miniatures called Shoreline Score, evoking an array of coastal scenes.
Steve Luck is an award winning composer from Newcastle Upon Tyne. His solo piano compositions primarily explore the nuances of the modern classical genre, with a focus on creating intimate and emotive piano pieces. There is a quiet and introspective quality to his performances. Sunderland Echo said recently “Steve’s subtle but emotive embrace of the instrument sees him conjure a world of moonlit rainbows, awakenings and new beginnings… modern classical piano miniatures that explore the delicate interplay between melancholy and hope, forming an engaging body of work which is both contemplative and uplifting.” Steve's music has been streamed on Spotify more than 2.5 million times and is broadcast regularly on TV and radio around the world. At the end of 2023 he released his third album of piano solos called 'Be Curious'
