Make something beautiful for your front door this Christmas!
Join Daniel Sams Basketry for a fun and relaxing workshop where you'll weave your very own festive willow wreath to take home.
No experience needed. We'll guide you through every step, from weaving the willow base to adding festive foliage and decorations and you'll leave with a beautiful handmade wreath you can be proud of.
The workshop is led by Daniel Sams of Daniel Sams Basketry, a basket maker and coppice worker with over 30 years of woodworking experience. Dan has been running weaving and craft workshops across the North East for several years, and is known for his fun and engaging workshop style.
Ticket price includes all materials, refreshments and entry to Gosforth Nature Reserve where participants can explore either before or after the workshops to enjoy the winter wildlife.
