The Fibonacci Quartet brings together musicians from across Europe, having formed at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Haydn’s ‘Emperor’quartet takes its name from a theme that later became the German national anthem. At its heart is a set of variations - simple, noble, and quietly powerful. Berg’s Lyric Suite tells a more private story. Filled with hidden references to a secret relationship, it moves between tenderness and intensity, with moments of both stillness and emotional urgency.
Tchaikovsky’s Third String Quartet is his final work in the form. Written in a dark, weighty key, it includes a deeply felt funeral march before turning towards a more upbeat and energetic close.
