The exhibition is in aid of MS Society. The statement "Art is never finished, only abandoned" is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. So it is with these paintings. I have learned that still lifes are seldom still; plants in water filled vessels writhe about, flowers bloom, droop and die in front of your eyes.
