The Diary of W. G. Footitt - Book Launch and Lecture
W. G. Footitt was a skilled draughtsman who worked for the architects Charles Hodgson Fowler of Durham and William Henry Wood of Newcastle. He also worked with the leading archaeologists of County Durham and Northumberland, illustrating their publications.

This unique primary source has been published on behalf of the Surtees Society. Join us for the official book launch and illustrated lecture. The event will be introduced by the Rt. Hon. Lord Shipley OBE. The book was be on sale at half price.

*This event will be held in the Fine Art Lecture Theatre of Newcastle University. This is the concrete building on King's Road, east of The Arches.*
