What is Mini Wonders?
Mini Wonders is a series of free sessions for pre-school children and their families, with stories, songs, museum objects and activities. The club is by invitation only for families we have contacted through their school nursery.

There will be 8 sessions to attend at the Discovery Museum.

After the session Children will be provided with a free light lunch to enjoy before returning to afternoon nursery.

Brothers and sisters of your pre-school child are welcome to come along. You will need to tell us their names and ages when you book so that we know how many people to expect.

Each family can bring one adult*

When is Mini Wonders?

Timetable for Mini Wonder's days:
10am: Arrive at the museum on a school mini bus. Visit the toilet and make your way to the Play and Invent space on the 2nd floor of the museum.
10:15am - 11:30am: Mini Wonders activities in Play and Invent.
11:30am -12pm: Colouring and reflection activity in the Cafe, with lunch provided. Lunch will be provided in a bag, in case you need to take your lunch to enjoy on the go.
12pm: mini bus pick up and return to school.

This is a pilot project and we are getting money from Art Fund and Nesta to run these sessions.

We will need to ask you some questions along the way so that we can tell the funders what worked best for you and make our sessions as good as they can be for your needs.
