Aaron Duff is a singer songwriter from North Shields in north-east England, working under the artist moniker Hector Gannet (named after a converted fishing trawler which sank in 1968, on which Aarons grandfather was a crewman). Hector Gannet have previously been described as masters of a kind of new, modernist folk and rock music and toured across England and Scotland with Sam Fender. Further support slots with Sea Power, Richard Thompson, Tom Robinson, Peter Doherty and Kathryn Williams, plus two North American adventures have occurred promoting the first two albums, which are now sold out.
