In the film, Chris and Dan join the Colman family in Barga, Tuscany - tracing their roots, tackling a few hair-raising mountain passes, and enjoying plenty of food, wine, Grappa and Negronis along the way.

They visit Barga’s famous Sagra del Pesce e Patate - the town’s annual Fish & Chip Festival - where the enduring bond between Italy and South Shields is celebrated.
