An opportunity to see two acclaimed UK based acoustic artists co-headlining in an intimate setting.

Maxim Yarushkin

"Max Yarushkin is one of the best fingerstyle players I’ve heard. Not only is he a skilled technical player, but he is also really creative in how he composes and arranges for the guitar. There is a big difference in my mind between being a guitarist and being a musician, and Max is a true musician - I always enjoy hearing him play." -Shane Hennessy

Maxim is a young rising star who will send you on an immersive journey into the art of modern fingerstyle guitar. With just one instrument Maxim creates the richness of a full band through intricate melodies, percussive rhythms and expressive harmonics. Weaving intricate soundscapes with his guitar, his set features original compositions, performed with depth, nuance and groove..

Michael Woods

Michael is an acclaimed Fingerpicking, Ragtime, Bottleneck & Blues Guitarist with four well received albums to date. Embracing the rich history of early blues, Michael’s powerful picking and slide really shine on material ranging from classic acoustic blues to self-penned songs & instrumentals. He cites many influences including the East Coast blues of Fulton Allen(Aka Blind Boy Fuller) & Blind Blake. Elements of his experience in the folk world and his love of the North East and its history are incorporated into his style. One of his award winning tunes is Blink of an Eye, featured on his third album, East Coast Fret. Having performed at Lindisfarne & Callander Jazz & Blues festivals, on the main acoustic stage of most of the major UK Blues festivals as well as in clubs & venues all over Britain, Michael will be playing some original songs and instrumentals as well as some classic acoustic blues.

Both men are brilliant acoustic guitarists with their styles being at opposite ends of the spectrum.
