Vintage Hitchcock, Radio Play by Joe Landry
Three Hitchcock's for the price of one in our January section.
Alfred Hitchcock is one of the most well known and influential film makers of all time. Here we have three of Hitchcock's stories brought to life by Joe Landry's radio play interpretations. Watch the plays brought to life with live on-stage sound effects.
The Lodger is set in a foggy London and captures a dark, shadowy, and threatening world in which newsboys shout out the latest headlines of murder.
Sabotage is again set in London. Endangered by political mania, plans are afoot to create widespread panic by setting off a bomb.
The finale, The 39 Steps, is the masterful blend of thriller, comedy, and romance, where Richard Hannay must save England from its enemies and negotiate a precarious romance with Pamela!
