Christmas music never fails to provide a warm anticipation and celebration of this brilliant festival and we hope you will join us for our annual concert. We have a superb selection of items which we are sure will delight you.
There are two cantatas written on the Christmas theme by the important British choral composer Cecilia McDowall whose music is known for its melodic flow and exuberant rhythms. There are settings of well-known English carols by the Swiss composer Carl Rtti who offers the traditional English choral style, often mixed with other influences such as jazz.
There are other settings of Christmas music for the choir while some favourite carols will give you the opportunity to flex your vocal chords while joining us in festivefavourites.
We are accompanied by Northumbrian Brass, and Organist James Watson under our Musical Director Tim Cranfield.
