We are looking forward to welcoming you to Newcastle for this years Surgery In Children Networks National Annual Meeting.
However you are planning to travel to the North East the venue is easily accessible in the centre of Newcastle with plenty of accommodation options nearby if you are staying overnight.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and there will be time for networking and visiting sponsors exhibition stalls throughout the day.
The finalised agenda will be shared beforehand however the main outline for the day is detailed below:
The first session includes presentations and speakers on
* 'A Patient Story' * National Team update * Education update
The main theme of the day is Emergency Pathways with discussions on the following:
* Difficult Airway Management in CYP: MAST the Wessex Way and SAFE * POCUS: The Role of Pocus to support diagnosis in the emergency paediatric pathway * Button Battery: National Group Management & Guidelines * How can we prevent emergency admissions
Each network has been allocated 6 tickets per region so please book your ticket now to join us in person. Once your region is fully booked please add your details to the waiting list as we may be able to reallocate tickets depending on availability.
