Northern Print are exhibiting and selling original prints from the 20:20 print exchange, a huge annual print exchange project organised by Hotbed Press in Salford, Manchester. Every year, printmaking studios as well as print departments in universities across the UK and overseas are invited to participate in this ambitious project; each studio has to enter a number of artists who each have to print an edition (or set) of 25 prints all measuring 20 x 20cm.
Every artist receives a selection of randomly selected prints from the project to keep and each studio gets a selection to sell. Prints are just £10 each with all proceeds going to support Northern Print.
The gallery is free to visit and open Wednesday-Friday, 12-4pm and alternative Saturdays. Please contact the gallery if you are making a special trip.
