So... perhaps its time to head on over to The Woodmans Arms if you've not yet visited, and find out what all the fuss is about! Get your chops around their Steak and Mordon Blue pie or tuck into a homemade Steak, Leek and Guinness Pie, served with a choice of chip or mash, mushy peas and gravy. 

The Broad Chare, Newcastle Quayside

For fans of a great pie who also enjoy the finer things in life, The Broad Chare on Newcastle Quayside is an award-winning, traditional pub-style restaurant which is well-worth a visit. If you want to sample a bar snack while you grab a pint, tuck into a hand-raised pork pie which can be found on the snacks menu. Although there are currently no pies on their main menu - The Broad Chare are the kings of a specials board or a dish of the day and have been known to serve up fish pie and rustic meat pies.

City centre bar and restaurant, The Botanist have a choice of two delicious pies on their main menu - perfect for all you lovers of a hearty pie. Diners can choose from a braised lamb and mint pie or an imaginative coconut sweet potato pie ideal for vegan and vegetarians. The Forth, Newcastle
