S&S Fundraiser Gig - Badger/Ceramic/Waves Of Dread/Nev Clay/Zudz /Marginal Gains /Holy Braille/Steff
Another Star and Shadow fundraiser coming right up and we've been extremely lucky again with the line up for this one. There may be more getting added too.
Badger
Alt Electro Pop duo Badger have been hand picked by Sleaford Mods to appear on some big stages as the support act on their upcoming autumn tour and have had one of the tracks from their fantastic recent EP remixed by Andrew from the Mods.
Waves of Dread
"Dream pop that incorporates elements of shoegaze, psych and stoner rock, as well as lo-fi bedroom pop, with an eighties-feel production that simultaneously adds a nostalgic warmth and a haunting softness that ties the tracks together" - Narc Magazine
Zudz
Zudz were the surprise package at our last fundraiser as very little was known about them, they were so great on the night and went down so well we just had to have them back.
For fans of Kyuss, Television, Queens of the Stone Age and the Groundhogs.
Nev Clay
Nev lives near Newcastle and until 2018 was a mental health nurse. He's been clarting around the local music scene for 30 years.
Marginal Gains
Very little is known about them, they don't have any music online and there's only a short clip of them practising on Instagram but we were told they are great by a sound engineer who worked with them so this one will be a surprise for us all.
Tickets are on a pay what you can basis, a suggested donation of £7 online or less than £7 on the door only.
Rumours of a spin-off group from the No Teeth syndicate joining the line up very soon can neither be confirmed or denied at the moment.
