★ KIDS COURSE - MOVING PARTS PUPPET SCHOOL 2021 (AGES 7-11) ★ LOCATION: 10 sessions via Zoom COST: £40 per household + £1 booking fee, price includes a material pack posted out to you (additional charge for extra material packs) ***Participants MUST live in a Newcastle (NE1 - NE61) postcode, as per our funder conditions*** Get creative! Make puppets! Make new friends! Make new puppet friends! Created specially for Newcastle budding puppeteers, the first ever term of the Moving Parts Puppet School will offer quality and fun puppetry training and performance opportunities unique to the region in Spring 2021. Kids and teens will be taught by Will and his robot sidekick ZB - two puppetologists on a mission to repopulate the puppetsphere through puppet creation and they need YOUR help! Budding apprentices will develop skills in making and performance, team work, individual creativity, design and confidence through 10 sessions taught via Zoom (due to Covid) in Spring 2021. Apprentices will receive a certificate at the end of the course. Kids (ages 7-11) will develop performance skills before working towards creating their very own short puppetry performance piece in a home pop-up theatre.
