About Persona, Masks and Meaning

Watching the Carnival in Basel Switzerland one early morning, Carl Jung saw members of the community behaving out of character under their masks and fancy dress. This kindled his imagination and he wondered if the most frequent mask we wear is actually on a daily basis which hides the real self.

This daily mask, Carl Jung termed The Persona - (Latin for the Actors Mask).

We invite you to this Jungian themed Art and Self Development class, where we will take a creative approach to exploring this concept and evoke curiosity for the parts of the Self that we present to the World.

This is a creative Self Development class, in which we invite imagination without requiring art experience, as well as discussion on the topic. By the end of the day you will have created your own mask that you can take home with you.

By purchasing a ticket we ask that you agree to respecting the views and confidences of the attendees and their discussion.

We are looking forward to welcoming you!
