Please check back for more information on Ouseburn Fireworks Display later in 2021. Date and details are currently provisional and have not been confirmed by the organisers.
Each November 5th, Ouseburn Community Centre put on a spectacular Fireworks Display for locals at Heaton's City Stadium (the park at the bottom of Warwick Street, Heaton). The main event usually starts at 6.30pm with plenty of time beforehand to build excitement and atmosphere.
This fantastic event has run for over 30 years and is one of the largest firework displays in Newcastle with thousands of locals gathering to ooh and ahh at the spectacular show. The event is completely free and put on by local volunteers who fundraise to pay for it. You can support the efforts of the organisation and keep the event free by donating to their crowdfund here. There will be hot food and drinks sold too to keep you warm.
Every year it has welcomed thousands of children, their families and other residents from across Heaton and the surrounding areas while continuing to attract bigger crowds year on year.
