Seven Stories

Join Seven Stories, The National Centre for Children's Books on their Facebook page every Friday at 10am to listen to a fun story time.

The popular family-friendly attraction in Newcastle is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic but is using lockdown to bring you the joy of a great story, virtually! Seven Stories is partnering with publisher Andersen Press to provide free and accessible readings of their picture books in exclusive weekly virtual story times. Stories to be read include I Don’t Want to Wash My Hands, read by author Tony Ross, Clem and Crab by Fiona Lumbers, A Fox Called Herbert by Margaret Sturton and The Little Island by Smriti Prasadam Halls and Robert Starling. A special reading of Jeanne Willis and Adrian Reynold’s Who’s In the Loo will include the author, Jeanne, teaching children a new song to go with washing hands.

Tune in each week and follow Seven Stories on social media to find fun activities to support the story times too.
