Mouth of Tyne Festival has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and will not take place in 2020. The popular music festival which takes place against the backdrop of Tynemouth Priory on the stunning North East coastline, will now take place next year, between 8-11 July 2021.

Each year, the Mouth of the Tyne Festival warms up the seaside town of Tynemouth with the perfect summer music festival packed with spectacular live music at Tynemouth Priory & Castle, special shows at Playhouse Whitley Bay, arts activities at Tynemouth Station and free street entertainment.

The Mouth of the Tyne Festival is organised by North Tyneside Council and is supported by Port of Tyne, Kier and Tyne Met College.
